I’m honored to be joining NAPAWF to shine a light on these issues and lift up the women and girls who will be on the front lines of advocacy and activism in the AAPI community.”

“In the past several weeks, the racism, misogyny and dehumanization of Asian American and Pacific Islander women have been brought to the forefront of the national conversation – unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons. The murder of six Asian American women in Atlanta is perhaps the most extreme version of the racism and sexism that AAPI women face. To dismantle the systems of oppression that enable this violence we must invest in AAPI women organizing and building power across the country in their local communities. We are thankful for the outpouring of support from allies, with the knowledge that our collective wellbeing relies on solidarity.”

“The deaths of the shooting victims in Atlanta as well as the Anti-Asian hate crime victims around the country cannot be in vain.
