Meet Our Board

Dr. Reginald Bolding spent nearly a decade in electoral politics rising to become the House Minority Leader in the 55th Arizona Legislature. Under his leadership, he led the largest Democratic Caucus since 1966. As Democratic Leader, Representative Bolding led on issues of civil rights, negotiated the largest water investment in Arizona history, secured deals with the Republican Governor to provide millions of dollars in funding to Arizona nonprofits, and helped lead negotiations to pass the first true bipartisan budget in Arizona since 2008. Dr. Bolding is also the founder of two of the largest black-led civic engagement organizations in the southwest United States. Under his direction, these organizations have secured over $300M in school district funding, helped elect two United States Senators, and lead the largest black voter outreach program in Arizona history. Dr. Bolding also serves as an educator, investor, and consultant tackling the nation’s largest issues. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc and lives in Phoenix with his wife, Cymone, and three daughters, Faith, Grace, and Honor.
